Isabelle is a woodland caribou and fashion influencer on the popular boreal social network, ClipClop. When her followers start dropping off, she is alarmed and confused. She thought being “rare” was a good thing but she learns that caribou are actually disappearing from the forest. Determined to help her herd survive, she launches a campaign and uses her ClipClop platform for awareness and advocacy – not just attention. A raggle-taggle of creatures rally behind the cause and Isabelle figures out that it takes a community to make a difference. FACTS! Animals that are UNDER THREAT face serious challenges that threaten their survival. Climate change and destructive human development are often threatening factors. Close monitoring of their populations and conservation efforts can make a difference. Species that are ENDANGERED are at high risk of disappearing from the planet all together.
