Nigeria home demolitions: High land values in Lagos drive mass evictions

The Nigerian government has embarked on a large-scale campaign of home demolitions in low income neighborhoods of the commercial capital Lagos. Many of the sites are considered prime for luxury real estate development. The campaign has left thousands of Nigerians homeless, living on the streets with nowhere to go.
