Greg: Well, I would say, again, this new challenge system is what I’m really worried about, along with spoiled ballots. Now, this is where they say your ballot was uncountable or unreadable. This isn’t about Elon Musk fixing vote-counting machines from outer space. This is simple. They challenge your vote by claiming your signature didn’t match. These aren’t forgery experts, and not one person has been charged with forgery in the past election. Yet, they removed several hundred thousand mail-in ballots because signatures were challenged. Overwhelmingly, these are voters of color. In fact, you’ll see a picture of one Adrian Consonary, as well as elderly voters, because signatures change as you age. They know who you are—they know your party affiliation or, essentially, they know by zip code and last name. Ninety percent of the most common names in America are minority ethnic names like Johnson, Nguyen, and Hernandez. They use that to challenge voters. They’ll say, “Oh, someone named Jose Hernandez moved from Georgia to Texas, so he shouldn’t be allowed to vote.” Well, guess what? Jose Hernandez may be a common name, but it’s not always common for Republicans. So they’ll claim Jose Hernandez in Georgia shouldn’t vote because he’s moved. It’s a clever game, and suddenly 25 Jose Hernandezes in Georgia are purged. Two hundred thirty-eight guys named James Brown were tagged for removal from the voter rolls in one state because they claimed he keeps voting again and again. It doesn’t matter that a lot of the middle initials didn’t match. When you look at these statistics—when you get the sheets—you have to sue in federal court to get this information from your state, as we’ve done in several states. We’re still getting stonewalled. I’ll have sharper numbers next year, but I had to gather these numbers from the Election Assistance Commission and the few secretaries of state willing to share the data. They resist us all the way because they know what I’m doing with these numbers. I’ll be going to federal court, working with Black Voters Matter, Reverend Jackson, and Rainbow PUSH to overturn these laws—if not through the courts, then through public opinion. Most Americans actually believe people should be allowed to vote. But they have to lie. They claim Black people cheat and vote multiple times or in multiple states to sell this idea of the fraudulent voter. Well, show me the fraudulent voters. Yes, arrest them, but where are they? All they do is remove ballots. Every time they bust these so-called phony voters—not every time, but it seems like four out of five times—they’re white Republicans. They busted a bunch of them down in The Villages. You get about 12 cases a year in a country of 330 million. Twelve! And as far as I’m concerned, throw away the key. By the way, of those 12, it’s usually 10 Republicans. Thom: Exactly. Greg: I literally calculated that you’re more likely to be struck by lightning than to cast an illegal ballot. Yet, we’re talking about millions of ballots arriving at voting offices and being rejected. Thom: Yeah. Greg: Especially with this new trend, because the majority of Democrats in 2020—and almost the majority of Democrats, close to half—voted by mail. Thom: There you go. Greg: So they’ve made voting terrible.
