Fake historical buildings are problematic - Stop idolising them!

If you are engaged with urbanist content online, you surely have seen montages of reconstructed pre–World War 2 buildings or even brand new buildings in the styles of the 19th and early 20th century. My home city Budapest is idolised by many Western urbanists as a place where beautiful classical buildings are still built.
