115,000 Year Old Human Footprints In Saudi-Arabia

In this video we are going to take a look at the currently oldest known fossilized human footprints, dating back to 115,000 years ago, that were discovered in Saudi Arabia back in 2017. The Arabian Peninsula is situated between Africa and Asia, and it has acted as a land bridge allowing humans and animals to migrate between the continents numerous times throughout history. These footprints discovered here at the Alathar paleolake offer us a snapshot of what the ecosystem and human presence in this area looked like, some 115,000 years ago.
