Cuba is in a state of ECONOMIC COLLAPSE and cannot afford to buy enough fuel to keep the country's lights on. No electricity means that businesses, schools and the healthcare system will not be able to open and that is only going to make the situation worse. The Economy has historically relied upon Tourism however that is now also under threat due to the ongoing infrastructure problems which have now resulted in the Canadian Authorities issuing a warning to Canadians thinking of travelling to Cuba.
