Russia turns off the gas in Moldova | Focus on Europe

At the start of 2025, Russia halted gas supplies to Moldova – leaving the pro-Kremlin region of Transnistria to struggle. The breakaway region, that is supported by Moscow, previously enjoyed a free gas supply. Now, many are facing a cold winter.
