  • “Metropolitan water systems are not designed to sustain a fire fight like this… There’s not enough fire engines… We’ve lost 8,000 structures. So times 3 fire engines each that requires 26,000 fire engines. I don’t think the State of California has 26,000 fire engines” www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxcv...

  • Everyone should watch this. Especially Republicans putting blame and pointing fingers. There was no preparation, no amount of resources, no amount of water and could not have had enough fire engines to handle this type of hurricane fire storm. youtu.be/MxcvVGtoYZE?...

  • 60 Minutes did an excellent job reporting on the LA fires. They have some incredible footage that brings home the scale of the fire. Did they have enough resources? No - the fires were unstoppable. If they had every fire engine in California, that would not have been enough. youtu.be/MxcvVGtoYZE?...

  • No one is to blame with respect to rescue efforts in the wildfires. As reported here, wealth and status were of no help to save anything. Man could not overcome the power of Mother Nature. Until a cause is found, finger-pointers must reassess their cruel need to blame in the moment.

  • A good and, according to locals who lived through it, accurate piece about the fires in Los Angeles, focusing on Altadena. CW for the obvious, but handled with sensitivity. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mxcv...

  • Yup. While everyone is pointing fingers of blame ALL OVER THE PLACE, it is sadly as simple as the chief says. “Mother Nature owned us." youtu.be/MxcvVGtoYZE
