Gather in Poems 2024

Gather in Poems is a free and virtual reading in the spirit of community, on the day of the Academy of American Poets' ninetieth anniversary. Featuring Academy Chancellors Carolyn Forché, Diane Seuss, Patricia Smith, and Tracy K. Smith; former Academy Chancellor Robert Hass; 2024 Poet Laureate Fellows Andrea Gibson, Joseph Ríos, and avery. r young; former Academy Executive Directors Jennifer Benka and Tree Swenson; and 2024 First Book Award winner Robin Walter.
