Music video for The Waxen Pith by Aphex Twin from the album I Care Because You Do released 1995. Warp Records 30 years later, I'm finally able to bring to life the idea i've had for the video since 2017. I tried many attempts over the years using real 16mm film footage to make a video for the track, none of which I was happy with and all of which have been scrapped. Everything that I did learn and enjoyed about that, I channeled into this video. This is probably the closest any of my videos has ever looked to the original vision I had in my head, right down to the textures, transitions and movement. To me, this is the real British National Anthem. I am only patriotic for the nature of my country and it inspires me endlessly.
