"Listen Twenty, they've got Buckley's if they think I'm gonna be wearing this pooncy shirt in the next scene." If anyone is curating a museum of Australian television, it wouldn't be complete without a 'Bluey' exhibit. And not just because it was hilariously reprised as 'Bargearse'. Listen! New Horizons (or 'the Channel 9 cricket theme')!! You try naming any household in the country that isn't even a slightly bit familiar with THAT music. This came on after The Midday Movie (hosted by Ivan Hutchinson) sometime in December 1994 (upload coming soon). Weirdly, I think 'The Late Show' chose 'Bluey' because it looked so past its prime, but Seven Perth still reckoned the series had another re-run in it (probably due to 'Bargearse'). PS. I can't imagine 'Rush' ever being released on DVD with 'The Olden Days' its bonus feature. All I say is, hurrah for Bluey AND Bargearse. "Why don't you take this series out with a bit of a bang?" "...Yeah."
