DANTE'S INFERNO - Silent Movie 1924 Fox Film (best quality) HQ
There has never been a true restoration of this film and therefore most of the versions I have found online have been quite poor in quality. However, I spent quite a bit of time trying to enhance the video quality and come up with a copyright free soundtrack that could be used in this film. This is the highest quality of anything I've been able to find and because this film is in the public domain I wanted to make it available for people to enjoy on YouTube. A strange trend in silent film: a tiny part of a reputed classic is 1/3 of the film, and a modern morality tale juxtaposed with it is 2/3. The same is true of the first TEN COMMANDMENTS--the exodus is only the first 20 min. Because in the 20s this was seen as corny old crap otherwise.
