Restoring Yemen’s Cultural Heritage: Harbia Al Himiary’s journey is a testament to women’s empowerment in Yemen. Harbia was trained by UNESCO to lead restoration projects in her hometown of Sana’a, Yemen. As heritage conservation engineer, she has played a vital role in preserving Yemen’s cultural heritage and supporting her community. In honor of her work, Harbia has been named one of @BBC100women of 2024.
