Syria's de-facto leader Ahmed al-Sharaa has been declared the interim president, months after his opposition group toppled the country's long-time president Bashar al-Assad. As the new Syrian state begins to take shape, it faces challenges and uncertainty. Sharra says all armed factions have been dissolved, to form a unified army.
