I Am Canadian : The Rant
A classic Molson Canadian beer commercial from March 2000. Just in time for the NHL playoffs that year. Starring Canadian actor Jeff Douglas as Joe. Part of the "I Am Canadian" advertising campaign. This commercial won the Gold Quill advertising industry award in 2001. "I Am Canadian" was the slogan of Molson Canadian beer from 1994 - 1998 and between 2000 - 2005. It was a popular advertising campaign based on Canadian nationalism. The ads aired in English Canada and the United States. After the merger of Molson's and Coors in 2005, Molson decided to end the "I Am Canadian" campaign. Hope you enjoy this famous/infamous piece of Canadian advertising.
