WATCH: Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood perform ‘Imagine’ | Carter Funeral

Country artists Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood performed “Imagine” by John Lennon at the funeral for the late President Jimmy Carter at the Washington National Cathedral Thursday. Brooks and Yearwood performed the same song just over a year prior at the funeral for Carter’s wife, former first lady Rosalynn Carter, who died in November 2023. The official state funeral in Washington on Thursday caps a long farewell that began — and will end — in Carter's hometown of Plains, Georgia. He died Dec. 29 at age 100.
