Here's the complete broadcast of the 1980 movie "The Pumaman" (shown in promos as "The Puma Man") as aired on the CBS Late Night Movie over WBBM Channel 2. As the voiceover in the intro tells us, this was the film's network television premiere. (and a few years before Mystery Science Theater 3000 (MST3k) memorably ripped it a new one in their take!) The premise of this flick is that aliens visiting Earth thousands of years ago gave birth to the Pumaman who had supernatural powers entrusted with a gold mask with the ability to control people's minds - which in present-day London ends up falling into the wrong hands. Or something like that. Starring Walter George Alton and Donald Pleasence, with Miguel Angel Fuentes and "special guest star" Sydne Rome. Opening and CBS Late Night Movie promo voiceovers by Norm Stevens.
