Ford's son fulfills father's promise to deliver eulogy for Carter

Once bitter political rivals, Jimmy Carter and Gerald Ford later became close friends. The two presidents would promise each other to deliver a eulogy at the other’s funeral. Carter fulfilled his promise after Ford died in 2006. At Carter’s funeral, Ford’s son, Steven Ford, realized his end of the deal. “God did a good thing when he made your dad,” Steven Ford told the Carter children. He then read from a letter that Gerald Ford had written for Carter. #CNN #News
