Republican Tries To Justify BEATING Disabled School Students

A Republican state senator in Oklahoma tried to quote the Bible in justifying his opposition to a bill (put forth by a Republican) that would officially make it illegal to use corporal punishment on students with disabilities. As it stands right now, the practice is banned by the state's Board of Education, but it is not written into the actual law, and corporal punishment is allowed in the Republican-controlled state.
