According to a major new report this week, insiders at the DOJ are still fuming over the fact that leadership had them chase down pointless leads in their investigations into Donald Trump. Some members say that the areas where they ordered to focus all turned out to be dead ends, while the real areas of concern were completely ignored. This is par for the course for Merrick Garland’s DOJ, as Ring of Fire’s Farron Cousins explains. According to a major report from CNN this week, there are a lot of investigators and lawyers in the Department of Justice that are off at Merrick Garland and of course, his leadership With regard to the investigations into Donald Trump. Not only have these lawyers and investigators accused Merrick Garland and other members of leadership of slow walking the investigations, which is pretty obvious, but they also in this new CNN report say that the higher ups force these people to chase ghosts and follow leads that they knew were not gonna go anywhere while making them ignore leads that they knew could possibly lead to criminal charges. A great example of that, again, according to people in the DOJ, is that the higher ups wanted them to start investigating whether or not Donald Trump had colluded with the Proud Boys prior to the Capitol Riot. Now, some lawyers at the DOJ said, listen, we wouldn't have been doing our due diligence had we not looked into this. While most others say we knew it didn't happen, but they forced us to waste an entire year investigating something that we knew wasn't there a year. They lost chasing these ghosts because of the higher ups, and it gets worse. One former DOJ official said they wasted time. They were not strategic. It was a whole year of nothing, and they waited so long, they ended up helping Trump in the primary and dividing the country. Two former DOJ officials said that investigators had already uncovered enough evidence against Trump to level charges against him a full year before Smith officially indicted him in 2023, had that occurred. It's conceivable that a trial for Trump's efforts to illegally remain in power after losing the 2020 election, could have occurred before the 2024 election, as it would've provided significant extra time for the US Supreme Court to render a ruling on presidential immunity. Now, the immunity ruling obviously would not have changed, like we still would've gotten the same ruling. But even after that ruling, the charges were paired down, but many charges still existed. The DOJ had enough evidence to indict Donald Trump in 2022. Jack Smith was appointed as special prosecutor when Donald Trump announced that he was running for president again. Trump officially launched his campaign on November 15th, 2022, a little about a Week after the midterms, and then a few days later, Jack Smith was appointed the special prosecutor before any of that happened, they had enough evidence to indict. So all of this so-called election interference that Donald Trump whined about. They could have avoided that if they had filed the charges when they were ready to file the charges. He would not have been an official candidate at that point, even though we all knew he was gonna run again, he wasn't declared, and we could have put an end to it right then. We could have had the trial before any of the primary voting even started, and it doesn't matter who those higher ups were in the Department of Justice, because at the end of the day, it comes down to one man, Merrick Garland. He was in charge of the entire DOJ, so it all came down to him. There is no defense of Merrick Garland. There is no defense of anything that man has done in his four years at the DOJ. He has been a disgrace. He has been a pro corporate stooge, an anti-consumer, a-hole, and he is the reason, one big reason why Donald Trump is about to be sworn in as the next president.
youtu.be/iIRope1RrFg?... There was enough evidence for Trump to have been indicted in 2022. If he had been a trial would have happened way before the 2024 election. Listen below.
