Russians Turn Against Putin - They Refuse to Work For Him!

Russia's labor capital is almost collapsing due to the invasion of Ukraine. Kremlin leader Vladimr Putin's constant recruitment of additional soldiers for the Russian army has left almost no one to work in the country. In 2022, Putin declared partial mobilization and called 300 thousand people to the Russian army. This decision had sunk the Russian economy, which was already at rock bottom. Now it is rumored that Putin is again in a new mobilization operation involving 300 thousand people. Unnamed sources in the Russian President's administration and the Defense Ministry confirm this. They suggest that this new wave of mobilization could soon be sent to Ukraine. The mobilized men will probably consist of reservists and current soldiers who will be persuaded to sign new contracts when their current terms expire. One of the reasons for the need for such measures is the lack of volunteers to fight. An employee of the military contracting center in Moscow told Verstka that the number of those willing to go to war is falling. Indeed, since October 2023, the flow of people had fallen sharply. Previously, Russian volunteer recruitment centers received several hundred people a day. At times this number was said to have reached 500-600. Now these centers were receiving 20-30 new recruits a day. However, in order to fill this gap, the Kremlin has adopted forced conscription of volunteers, providing the Russian army with additional military power. This coercive and repressive system, which has been in place since 2022, has upset Russia's labor and economic balances. Now Putin has a different problem to deal with. And this problem is indeed seriously undermining Russia's defense and civilian labor capital. In a country of about 145 million people, most of them are in the military, so there are no workers and specialists left to work in production. So how is Russia trying to overcome the negative effects of the war? How long can the erasure of the labor market through military recruitment keep Russia afloat economically? If Putin fails to solve this problem, will Russia's defense and civilian production collapse, forcing the Kremlin leader to negotiate with Ukraine?
