Over the last 30 years, the price of lithium ion batteries has fallen by 97%. Now, renewable energies like solar and wind are much cheaper than fossil fuels. Building more renewable energy infrastructure should be easier than ever, right? While the market wants to build more clean energy infrastructure, our current environmental review laws and other procedural statutes drastically slow this process down, says Alec Stapp, co-founder and co-CEO of the Institute for Progress (IFP).
