Catastrophic wildfires in Southern California continue to burn with minimal containment if any at all. Hurricane force winds have abated, however strong gusty winds persist through tomorrow into the weekend. SISE stakeholders should monitor the status of these wildfires closely if operations are necessary near those areas. Elsewhere a winter storm is impacting Texas and the deep south today and will expand its impacts through Friday. Winter storm Warnings have been issued all the way to SE Virginia where Emergency Declarations have been continued form the storm earlier in the week. Ice and snow mixed will affect Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. Transportation infrastructure will be impacted. This video is being uploaded to the SISE Hub and distributed through Signal.
