Thousands march through streets of downtown L.A. for International Women's Day

Thousands of participants marched in downtown Los Angeles on Saturday to commemorate International Women’s Day and advocate for the restoration and expansion of women’s rights in the U.S. and across the world. “For us, the main focus is making that sure that women understand that we are not equal yet,” Emiliana Guereca, founder of Women’s March Foundation, which organized the Los Angeles event., told the Los Angeles Times. “We have lost rights instead of gaining rights.” Details: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2025-03-08/downtown-womens-march https://www.womensmarchfoundation.org/ KTLA 5 News - Keeping Southern Californians informed since 1947.
