This is spot on. For the CPC to succeed they NEED disappointed centrists. They simply do not have the base to get a majority without them. But Trump's actions have proven that conservatives have zero interest in addressing people's actual concerns and they only care about babying racist white men.
Canada was sliding into fascism, just like the US. Trump gets elected and goes full mask-off Nazi, including the upcoming clearing of the ghettos. Suddenly, Canada is waking up and rethinking their values. Thanks, Donald.
