The Temptations - Treat Her Like A Lady [Official Music Video] (1984) [4K]

On November 6, 1984, @thetemptationsofficial released their classic 80s hit single "Treat Her Like A Lady" and it recently hit its 40th anniversary a few days ago! The way this song came about, founder Otis Williams was hearing rumors going around about men not treating women the right way. This would inspire him to come up with a tune to write a song for the ladies. At the time, their newest addition Ali Woodson had just replaced former lead singer Dennis Edwards, who went on to pursue a solo career. One day, Ali was hanging at Otis place and they were sitting at the piano making up the song as they went along. They ended up writing a hit and it ended up being "Treat Her Like A Lady." Al McKay and Ralph Johnson of the legendary @earthwindandfirehelped produce the track, including Ali himself. The song was released in November of 1984 and skyrocketed to the charts. It peaked at #2 on the @Billboard Hot Black Singles, #13 on Hot Dance Club Play, and #48 on the Hot 100 chart. I can't believe this song turns 40! This classic put the Temptations back on the map, thanks to their newest lead singer the late, great Ali-Ollie Woodson.
