The Easter Rising of 1916

My attempt to write a song about the true events of Easter Rising in April 1916 and the Brave Men and Fearless Women who stood against the might of the British Empire to free their country from British rule. All honour to The IRB, The ICA, Cumann na mBan, The young boys of Na Fianna Eireann and those Irish Volenteers who defied Eoin MacNeill's orders to stand down. "And I say to my peoples masters: Beware!! Beware of the thing that is coming, beware of the risen people who shall take what ye would not give. Did ye think to conquer the people, or that law is stronger than life and than mens desire to be free? We will try it out with you, ye that have harried and held, ye that have bullied and bribed. Tyrants, hypocrites, liars!"
