She says that while Silicon Valley has always had reactionary currents, the Biden administration's stricter regulation of the industry led to a decisive break with Democrats, who had previously benefited from Big Tech's cash and influence. "Now you see a wholehearted embrace of Trump with the hopes of deregulation," says Lewis.
