Authorities in Colombia say the death toll from guerrilla violence over drug trafficking territory in the northeast could be as high as 100. Some 25,000 people have fled the area as ELN rebels and remnants of former FARC guerrilla fight over the control of drug trafficking routes along the border with Venezuela. The situation has prompted President Gustavo Petro to suspend peace talks with the ELN guerilla group. Al Jazeera’s Alessandro Rampietti reports from the city of Cucuta.
