Lawmakers and residents are demanding answers from federal officials after large mysterious drones have been reported flying over parts of New Jersey in recent weeks. A state lawmaker briefed by the US Department of Homeland Security said the drones appear to avoid detection by traditional methods like helicopter and radio. Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia posted on social media that the drones are believed to be about six feet in diameter and sometimes travel with their lights switched off. The Morris County, NJ Republican lawmaker was among several state and local lawmakers who met with New Jersey State Police and Homeland Security to discuss the sightings that range from the New York area, through New Jersey and into parts of Pennsylvania. LiveNOW from FOX’s Josh Breslow spoke with Michael Fondiller, a Morris County resident who has seen the drones constantly and wants to know what is going on.
