We're journeying back to the 1970s, the pinnacle of glam rock, where the performers' outfits were as extravagant as their stage presence for this TIYL edition. Michael is visiting the renowned London Palladium in Soho, which hosted an event titled '70s Glitz, Blitz and Hits' to celebrate a pioneer of female empowerment—and it's not a Spice Girl or a member of Little Mix. The focus is on a singer who started her musical path playing bongos in a dance band at just eight years old. As she matured, she also excelled in acting, appearing in 'Happy Days' as a dancer and making a guest appearance in 'Absolutely Fabulous' Darling. Alvin Stardust, assisting Michael in this episode, acknowledges her as one of the first women to show that girls can rock as hard as, or even harder than, the boys.
