Donald Trump was upset that his first inauguration, and of course the parade that takes place after it, uh, was sparsely attended, it got under his skin. And in the first few days, and then of course, the years following that inauguration, Donald Trump obsessed over the fact that he didn't have as many people at his inauguration as Barack Obama had had at his. It got so bad in those early days of Trump's first year that the media, of course, started posting pictures of Obama's crowd versus Trump's crowd, and it was about half the size. So how does this terrified man ensure that people actually show up to his inauguration? I mean, DC can be a long way from where a lot of these people live. Travel's expensive. You gotta give 'em more than just walking past them in a parade. And Donald Trump has come up with an idea to get more of his maga freaks to Washington dc. He has announced that he will be holding a rally on January 19th, the day before the inauguration at 3:00 PM to, uh, you know, bring more people in. And I will say, I don't like to give the man much credit because he hasn't done anything deserving of credit. This is actually not the dumbest idea Trump has ever had. They're doing it at the Capital One arena, the, uh, stadium of the Washington Wizards. So the goal here is to put on a big event, similar to what Donald Trump did at Madison Square Garden. Even though, of course, this venue in DC can only hold like 20,000 people. So you're not gonna get a ton, but bring in enough speakers, bring in enough other people that are not named Donald Trump, that might get some of these MAGA folks across the country to say, you know what? We could go and we could do this, and we can go to the inauguration, right? Because if it's just one thing, then that price tag for the plane ticket, the hotels and all of that, 'cause hotels in DC will be crazy that week. Um, maybe it's worth it to them, but that's why he's doing this. You know, when this news first came out on, uh, Wednesday, on New Year's Day, I saw it and I was wondering like, why is everybody running headlines with this? Like, who gives a crap, right? He's gonna do a rally the day before the inauguration. Who cares? So what, but what all of these stories missed, 'cause I didn't see this in any of them, is the why, right? Nobody bothers to ask the question why anymore. And that is why the media today sucks. So I started asking, well, why, why would he do this? He's ob, he's already won the election. There's no need to hold a rally. He, he doesn't need any more money from these people. He can't even spend it technically on himself. So what's the point of this? And that's when it hit me. He has to get more people to DC so he's not embarrassed by his tiny inaugural crowd. That is what this is about. And that is what the entire media missed. Trump is terrified that nobody is going to show up for his inauguration. But even holding this little rally, I can promise you it's definitely not gonna be the size that he wants it to be. Nevertheless, when it's over, I guarantee you, he will tell us it was the biggest crowd ever seen in Washington, dc. Mark my words, after that inauguration, he will make that claim. So here I am, January 3rd, 2025, telling you 17 days in advance, no matter how big or how small that crowd is, Trump will lie to you and tell you it was the biggest ever.
