The two problems we need to solve to win #men back to the #progressive movement

For the past 30 years, #republican leaders have purposefully and consistently fed the lie to American #men that they are the victim of #progressive policies. This lie is exclusively in service of #billionaires, but progressives have failed to expose the lie because we have allowed Republican leaders to frame our political debates around the identities of the people we are trying to help, instead of the underlying truth that lifting people of diverse backgrounds is not the outright goal, but a natural byproduct of policies that deliver an equal chance at prosperity for all human beings, regardless of what they look like or where they come from. this is proven outright by the simultaneous growth of the middle class, and of civil rights, through the golden age of the United States. Winning man back to the Democratic Party is going to take work, but it’s work I’m ready to do.
