My hero, Carol Burnett. She is a genius. She stood up for gay rights on national television, when it was NOT OKAY TO BE GAY. I watch this as an adult, who was a child in the 70's, looking back, knowing what I know now, she and everyone in this skit, took A HUGE RISK. It's not hard to read between the lines. In the 70's and 80's, EVERYDAY after school, I watched Carol Burnett. She lifted my spirits bc I was and still am that weird kid.
