It's another day in America with yet another senseless act of violence as at least a dozen people tragically lost their lives in a reported terror attack on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, as deceased suspect Shamsud-Din Jabbar drove an electric truck through crowds of people celebrating the New Year just a mile away from the College Football Playoff's Sugar Bowl game and the site of Super Bowl 59, forcing the Sugar Bowl to be postponed for a day as Republican officials are exploiting this tragedy to push anti-immigrant rhetoric and bigotry.
