TYT, formerly known as The Young Turks, is changing, and not for the better. As one of the largest progressive media organizations in the United States you’d be forgiven for thinking that it would remain ideologically committed to the ideals they so readily espouse, but among its main hosts things have taken a turn since Trump’s election victory. Regular viewers already know that TYT’s commentary regarding trans people, crime, immigration, homelessness, and other things, has taken a turn towards the right over the past few years. But since Trump’s re-election the willingness has to “agree with” the far right has been concerning to regular contributors like Francesca.
