An American Airlines plane crashed with a military helicopter into the Potomac River near Reagan National Airport Wednesday night, according to U.S. officials. The crash halted takeoffs and landings, as officials issued a ground stop and closed the airport, according to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
