Chinese People on RedNote are STUNNED by Americans’ Healthcare Costs

TikTokers migrated to RedNote (Xiaohongshu) ahead of the TikTok ban and had some eye-opening conversations with Chinese people about culture and systems of governance. As a result, Chinese people learned how dysfunctional America’s healthcare system is, and reacted by asking Americans questions about it and by comparing the cost of healthcare in China. Americans are also learning that there’s a surprising amount of support for Luigi Mangione among Chinese citizens on RedNote.
