Gigue from Bach’s Cello Suite No. 4, on the Moog Sub37

This Gigue is relentless! You'll see me using the Oscillator II on/off switch to create the echo dynamics that are indicated in the Barenreiter edition. An interesting thing is that Bach organised this Gigue in a way that very nearly can be called sonata form; it only lacks a formal second theme. It's cool to see a transitional style of piece from the more free-form Baroque style of binary form (which the earlier Cello suites certainly employ) and the more Classical sense of thematic organisation that was developing around that time period.
