1890s Temlett Apollo No 4 zither 5-string banjo

Jose spent a huge amount of time bringing this gorgeous old London-made zither banjo back from the brink. It’s got upscale features and trim and now plays and sounds an absolute treat. Due to the unreinforced necks, we use straight gut/nylgut strings on these as opposed to steel and I think that’s generally the best policy with period banjos, anyhow.
