Prince Harry has been issued a "full and unequivocal apology" from Rupert Murdoch's News Group Newspapers, the publisher of The Sun newspaper, for "serious intrusion" into his private life. It settles a long-running legal battle between the prince and the newspaper group, after eleventh-hour negotiations. The Sun also apologised for serious intrusion into the private life of his late mother, Princess Diana, and agreed to pay substantial damages.
