In his first remarks at an international leaders' summit, Syria's Interim President Ahmed al-Sharaa told fellow Arab leaders in Cairo on Tuesday that Israel's "aggressive expansion" threatens not only Syrian sovereignty, but the security of the entire region. Sharaa urged the international community to "fulfill its obligations and pressure Israel to withdraw from southern Syria."
