Released Palestinian prisoner enjoys first iftar with family after 24 years in Israeli jails

Hundreds of Palestinian prisoners released as part of phase one of the Gaza ceasefire deal are celebrating Ramadan with their families for the first time in years. Hamza al-Kalouti served 24 years in an Israel jail after being convicted of helping to plan suicide attacks for Hamas. Despite being released on Thursday, Israeli authorities have banned him from observing the holy month at Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem.
