Why Trump Might Actually be TRYING to Crash the Economy on Purpose

As Trump announced tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China, the U.S. stock market plummeted. All three countries announced retaliatory tariffs, and Trump threatened even more tariffs in response. This idiotic move—along with deregulation, austerity, and more wealth redistribution from the bottom to the top—has contributed to fears of another recession. While stupidity and gross incompetence are certainly factors, it’s also plausible that Trump might be *deliberately* trying to trigger a recession for self-serving reasons.
